Welcome from our Principal

Mr Scott Mathews, School Principal

Welcome to Elizabeth North Primary School.
It is a privilege to lead a school at the heart of its community, where every child is valued and supported to succeed. I have had the pleasure of teaching and leading here for many years, including roles as Deputy Principal, Assistant Principal for Inclusion and as a teacher. My entire career has been dedicated to schools in Adelaide’s northern suburbs and I care deeply about this community and the families who call it home.
I am passionate about equity and public education. I believe every student should have the chance to learn, grow and thrive. Inclusion is central to my leadership, ensuring every child’s strengths are recognised, their needs met, and they feel supported to achieve their best.
Our school focuses on high-quality teaching and learning, student wellbeing and strong partnerships with families. Together, we create a safe, inclusive and engaging environment where all students flourish academically, socially and emotionally.
As Principal, I lead with respect, integrity, empathy and fairness. I am committed to supporting our staff, students, and families in achieving the very best outcomes. Elizabeth North Primary School is more than a school, it is a community where every child’s potential is valued and celebrated.
I look forward to working alongside you and welcoming you to our school community.
